Help my dad, Luis Treviño & his COVID-19 recovery
My dad is a out of state truck driver, he absolutely loves his job, & everything about it. Back in December 2020 he was in California delivering a load, my mom and younger sister were with him as well. A few days go by & they noticed he wasn’t sleeping very much/well. We previously had family members that had COVID as well and it affected my dad, he had a lot of stress and was lacking a lot of sleep. He began to have hallucinations, we then realized it is something more serious. My mom had to get 911 on the call and they got him to the closest hospital. Of course, first thing they did is test him for COVID-19 as heartbreaking as it was he tested positive. While my dad was in the hospital my mom and sister had to stay in my dads semi parked at a truck stop, my mom had to contact one of my dad’s good friend to help her find someone to deliver the last load they picked up. After five days of my mom and sister being stuck in the semi another good friend of my dad, who lives in California was able to drive the semi close to his house and bring my mom and my sister to his home with his family. My dad got out of the hospital but two days later he had to go back to another hospital in Los Angeles, he was there for five days, finally he got out and the next day my older brother got a plane ticket to them and drove them back to Colorado. a week later he had to go to the hospital in Aurora for total of 15 days. COVID was so hard on his body, it has attacked his nerve system, and took a big hit on his physical and mental health. Still to this day doctors don’t know much about these new symptoms that COVID has cause on people . My dad is not cleared to work and hasn’t been for the last 3 months. He is under a lot of medications and will be for a while , due to this my mom has become his caregiver & needs to be with him 24/7. He is doing a bit better but still isn’t cleared from doctors to get back to work. Unfortunately, we are backed up on bills since he is the main source of income to our house. We greatly appreciate any donations that you can make.
Thank you to anyone donating from the bottom of my heart, God Bless.
