Help my Dad keep his apartment

Hi, my name is Jen. I'm fundraising for my dad, Donald. He has recently undergone surgery that has had some pretty serious complications and he is in the hospital in intensive care. He worked up until the day before his surgery. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that his illness has caused him to use up whatever sick time he had accrued, and, as a result, he will not get paid if he does not work. His doctor has told him that he will be out of work for an extended period of time, possibly months. Maybe forever. We are trying to assist with getting him put on disability, but that is a long and drawn out process between application and first payment (IF he is approved). He will be evicted from his home if he cannot pay rent between now and then. He is worried, I am worried for him, and this is the only thing that I could think of to do that might help until he is better. Please help if you can afford to. Any amount is something that he didn't have before. Thank you!
