I am creating this go fund me as my family and I navigate caring for my dad who was diagnosed with ALS in the last year. As his condition progresses rather quickly, we are finding there are some things he needs to help care for him and to make his daily life more comfortable.

We are hoping to raise funds to cover some essential items, including a new bed and frame, a ramp for our front steps, a raised toilet with installation, funds necessary for his eventual funeral and cremation services, and also a buffer for any unexpected costs that come up.

Every donation helps and means the world to us. While there are some assistance programs - we have looked into them and they either don’t cover what we need or are rebate based, and we currently don’t have the funds to fund anything upfront.
