From Lydia Hart Cubbedge:
“After a life of working hard and lovingly to support his family my dad, Alan Hart, is in need of support himself. He has been a teacher, a musician, a composer, and a poet, and now he needs a comfortable, safe place to live as he enters hospice care for dementia. While home hospice care is covered by Medicare, the two hundred year old home he shares with my mom, his wife of nearly forty four years, is completely unsuitable and unsafe. My siblings and I have limited resources, but we need to make sure he is somewhere safe and soft. My hope is to raise money for relocation costs, move in fees, and first and last months’ rent before he is too frail to move at all. We are scattered all over the country; any funds we receive will go to making him a home close to people who can care for him.
“He’s a gentle man in every sense of the word and is a good, loving dad. Please help us keep him safe and happy. Anything at all helps!”
