My father, Bert, is a generous and hard working man who has given a lot to his community. Even at his current age of 72, he continues to work tirelessly and give generously. This time, he needs help.

Several years ago, he had a pacemaker implanted. Now, the pacemaker is running out of battery life. His doctor recommended that he should replace it earlier this month but lack of funds have forced him to delay it. The doctor has urged him to do it before the end of the month before the battery completely dies out. 

The replacement will cost 1 million Philippine pesos (about US$19,000).  He has managed to raise most of it; leaving him with  US$6000 yet to raise.

I'm asking you, my friends and family, to help me raise money for his replacement pacemaker and for the hospital fees incurred.

My hope is that we can raise this money in the next 10 days so that he'll be able to replace it before the end of the month.
