My dad is fighting for his life, and we’re asking for help in the hardest moment our family has ever faced.

He has been struggling with Sarcoidosis of the lungs for years, but his condition has now reached a critical point. His lungs are functioning at just 15 percent. After countless hospitalizations, medications, and setbacks, he has finally been medically referred for a double lung transplant — his only chance at survival.

Right now, he is in the hospital with pneumonia, fighting through every breath until he can be safely transported to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. That is where we pray he’ll receive the new lungs that could save his life and give him a chance at a future with the people who love him.

The financial burden of transplant surgery, travel, long-term care, and months of recovery is overwhelming. Our family is raising funds to support his upcoming surgery, medical expenses, and the extensive post-transplant care that follows.
