A Chance at the #1 Cancer Center — Help My Dad Reach It

Hi, my name is Sara Benton, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life.

Just recently, we received news that gave us hope: my dad, Melvin “Buddy” Watkins, has been accepted for care at the #1 cancer center in the United States. It’s an unexpected blessing—one that could bring us more answers, better treatment, or at the very least, comfort and peace during this incredibly painful time.

But we can’t get there alone.

My dad has been battling terminal cancer with unbelievable strength and courage. After months of fighting and enduring so much, we now know that our time together may be short. This opportunity is truly our last hope, and we’re doing everything we can to make it happen—but we need help covering the costs of travel, lodging, and care.

This journey isn’t just medical—it’s personal. My dad is a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone who’s spent his life giving to others. Now it’s our turn to give something back.
