In Loving Memory of Our Dad - Help Us Honor His Life

My name is Crystal, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dad, our hero, our rock, and the heart of our family, who is now battling Stage IV stomach cancer.

What started as persistent back pain and a loss of appetite turned into something we never imagined. After weeks of discomfort, weakness, and not being able to sit or eat, my dad was rushed to the ER. Multiple scans and tests later, we received the devastating news: Stage IV Stomach Cancer. And not just early signs, the cancer has spread covering the outer part of his stomach, down his back, and into his hips.

Initially, we were hopeful that a combination of chemotherapy and surgery would offer a path to recovery. But after further consultation, we’ve been told that these are no longer options due to some internal bleeding. This news has shaken us to our core but we are not giving up hope. We are continuing to fight, to believe, and to stay resilient in the face of this painful reality.

We are now shifting into home care focusing on his comfort, strength, and quality of life. We’re utilizing homeopathic remedies to support his body naturally while also managing any pain he experiences. Our priority is to surround him with peace, love, and healing energy during this incredibly difficult time.

Who is our dad?

He’s a devoted husband, a proud father of two (my brother and I), and the most loving grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren who light up his world. He’s our Mr. Aloha, warm, selfless, and always ready with a smile and a helping hand. He’s the kind of man who would give his last dollar to help someone else. Even in pain, with tears in his eyes, he thanks every doctor and nurse who walks into his hospital room. He truly radiates kindness!

His grandkids are his heart. He lives for their hugs, their laughter, and the joy they bring him. He tells us every day that he wants to fight. To live to see his grandchildren grow, to walk beside us, his children, for many more years to come.

Why we need your help:

As we navigate this new path, we are facing significant financial burdens from medical supplies and at-home care services to natural remedies, nutritional support, and everyday living expenses. I’ve taken the role of managing this GoFundMe because I want my dad to focus solely on comfort and peace as we care for him at home.
