Help My Dad Fight for His Health

We the Jordan Family are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support during one of the most challenging times we’ve ever faced.

Our dad—affectionately known as Papang to us and Uncle/Lolo Pudo to many—has been suffering from a serious prostate condition that has not yet been fully diagnosed. We are still awaiting confirmation on whether it may be cancerous.

His prostate began bleeding, which led to blood clots that blocked the flow of urine. This blockage caused urine to back up into his kidneys, severely damaging the function. As a result, his creatinine levels—an indicator of toxins in the blood—skyrocketed from 200 to 600, then to 700, and most recently, 884.

Doctors explained that they could not proceed with surgery on his prostate until his creatinine levels dropped. The only immediate solution was dialysis. So far, our dad has undergone three dialysis sessions in one week and received five blood transfusions. On May 20, he was finally able to undergo a cystoscopy and was admitted to the ICU afterward for close monitoring.

This sudden medical crisis has turned our world upside down. Our dad is a loving father, a devoted friend, a faithful servant of God, and someone who has always put others before himself. He even prayed during those times that he was in pain, he said " Lord this pain is just mine. Don't allow others to experience this painful sickness." Even in his struggles and pain he thought of others. Now, he needs our help.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of his ongoing care—hospitalization, dialysis, medications, and follow-up procedures—is more than we can manage alone. We are doing everything we can, but we’ve reached the point where we need to ask for help.
