Hi, my name is Rowdy — I’m a chihuahua with a big heart and an even bigger mission. I’m raising money for my dad, who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the end of last year.

My dad is the kind of person who would never ask for help, no matter how hard things get. He adopted me when I had nowhere to go, and he feeds all the neighborhood cats just to show them kindness. That’s the kind of heart he has — always giving, never expecting anything in return.

Last year, he lost his mom, and it hit him hard. Not long after, he began struggling to breathe. He went from doctor to doctor, ER visit after ER visit, but no one could figure out what was wrong. Finally, in December, one doctor found the cause:

Since then, I’ve watched my dad grow weaker with each round of chemo. He can barely do simple things like feed me and my fellow cats, change bedding, or cook. Yet he still works full-time to make sure we all have a roof over our heads.

But the bills are piling up — tens of thousands of dollars, even with insurance. Then a hailstorm damaged our roof, and insurance only offered $200. On top of that, our cars AC broke down in the middle of a Texas summer, and fixing it cost another $2,798.

My dad would be upset if he knew I was writing this. He’s proud and strong, and he’s always been there for his human and furry friends. But now, he needs us.
