Support for Robert Runs Behind

Hi friends, 

I am trying to raise enough money for my father to escape an abusive relationship, come to Missoula, and have a stable place to live once he gets here. 

For years now, my dad has been in an abusive relationship without the financial means to leave or move elsewhere. He does not own a vehicle and cannot open a bank account, and has been unemployed due to disability for several years.

These days, I've become more and more worried about his physical safety, but I also don't have the money to help my dad move somewhere safer and better for his mental health. It breaks my heart to know that he is suffering and that I cannot help him alone.  Nobody deserves to be in his situation.

My dad is native and disabled. I worry about his future and am worried about what being homeless again will be like for him now that he is older.  Growing up, he taught me to have faith in the kindness of friends and strangers alike. I hope that, together, we can help him regain his freedom and start healing.
