Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help during one of the most difficult times our family has faced. My dad or to everyone else Eric “Mr.214” Najera recently underwent emergency surgery to remove dangerous blood clots from his legs and veins. The situation came out of nowhere and quickly turned into a life-threatening medical emergency.

Thanks to the incredible surgeons at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital he pulled through the surgery — but the road ahead will be long, painful, and costly. He is currently recovering in the hospital, and will likely require weeks (if not months) of rehabilitation, physical therapy, medication, and follow-up care.

Unfortunately, this will place a financial burden on our family. Between medical bills, time off work, and other daily expenses. If you know my dad, you know he’s a proud, hard-working man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Right now, he’s the one who needs our help — and we’re humbly asking for your support.

Whether it’s $5, $50, or simply a share of this fundraiser, it all makes a difference. Every donation goes directly to supporting my dad’s recovery and easing the financial strain on the family during this overwhelming time.
