Help my dad, Douglas Bixler get through Cancer

In November, 2021 my dad was diagnosed with Late Stage 3 Colorectal cancer, Which was found because of a tumor in his lower intestine. After many scans and tests, it was found, a less intense form of chemo could be used along with a few rounds of radiation, this was all successful and his team of amazing doctors were able to shrink the tumor down and have the tumor removed, and in remission of cancer just a year after his diagnosis. During this time my dad had used short-term disability from work which was very financially strenuous. on top of co-pays and his insurance deductible, he also had to manage his daily living expenses. Thank goodness he was able to make it through. But, here is where things go from bad to WORSE. He had a routine scan at the end of January and a microscopic spot was seen on his lungs, that had to be biopsied. We all assumed it to be nothing, but to our awful surprise, Stage 4 cancer had spread to his lung. This means my dad will now have to do intense Chemo treatment and pay another year's insurance deductible. All while he is now unable to take any more paid time off work. My dad is trying to continue to work but on the days he is sick and has his treatments, will significantly affect his way of life along with being ill. I have the best dad in the world he has always been there for everything in my and my brother's life. He raised me with such wisdom and patience, we are very proud of who our dad is and who he made us be. We do not want to see our dad suffer worse than he already has and we are heartbroken with the situation and support as much as we can ourselves. We are reaching out to the people who know us, or of us through social media that want to help an amazing father be a little more comfortable during his battle with cancer. We would be extremely appreciative and grateful, anything helps.
