My name is Michelle Sepulveda, and I am creating this Gofundme for my father, Miguel Sepulveda. In May of 2025, specifically Mother's Day, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. We found out that it is stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma. This completely turned our lives upside down. Never did I ever think that I would be scheduling my dad's oncology appointments, the biopsy, meeting with the surgeons, and chemo treatments. Aside from the emotional toll this put on the family, the financial toll is even bigger. My dad was the primary breadwinner in our household. He worked long hours to be able to take care of his wife, and grandchildren. My father has been out of work since the diagnosis, leaving my mother to take on the financial burden of the household. My mother has been working as hard as she can to make ends meet, but sometimes, unfortunately, it is not enough. My mother also struggles with her own health issues, but is persevering in the face of adversity. My father continues to rest as he undergoes different types of treatment for this cancer. Treatments that leave him feeling weak and unable to work. He faces debilitating bouts of nausea and vomiting, causing him to lose over 30 pounds since May.
