¡Hola! Mi nombre es Valentina Pérez y estoy creando esta campaña de GoFunMe para mi papá, Ricardo Pérez.
Él es y siempre ha sido mi aliado, mi escudo y mi mayor fan. Honestamente, no sería quien soy sin él, y siempre estaré agradecida por todo el apoyo y, sobre todo, por el amor incondicional que me ha dado los últimos 30 años.
Mi papá fue diagnosticado con un cáncer de vejiga y otras complicaciones médicas el año pasado. Afortunadamente, la mayor parte del tratamiento lo ha cubierto su seguro médico, pero hace algunas semanas llegamos al límite del presupuesto del seguro y ha habido complicaciones adicionales. Mi papá fue internado hoy en Caracas y necesitamos apoyo pagando parte de estos últimos gastos que no cubre el seguro, incluyendo:
- 3 noches de hospitalización - $4,000
- 2 citoscopias - $2,000
- medicamentos oncológicos - $1,000
- exámenes de laboratorio y transfusiones de sangre - $1,000
- medicamentos adicionales - $1,000
Lo que más quisiera en este momento es poder estar ahí junto a él dándole la mano pero, desde la distancia, lo mejor que puedo hacer el ayudar a cubrir los gastos que se salen de nuestras posibilidades económicas.

Hi! My name is Valentina Pérez and I am creating this GoFunMe campaign for my dad, Ricardo Pérez.
He is and always has been my ally, my shield, and my biggest fan. Honestly, I wouldn't be who I am without him, and I will always be grateful for all the support and most of all the unconditional love he has given me over the last 30 years.
My dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer and other medical complications last year. Fortunately, most of the treatment has been covered by his health insurance, but a few weeks ago we reached the limit of the insurance budget and there have been additional complications. My father was hospitalized today in Caracas and we need support paying part of these last expenses that are not covered by insurance, including:
- 3 nights of hospitalization - $4,000
- 2 cystoscopies - $2,000
- cancer drugs - $1,000
- laboratory tests and blood transfusions - $1,000
- additional medications - $1,000
What I would like most at this moment is to be able to be there next to him holding his hand but, from a distance, the best thing I can do is help find funds to cover the expenses that are beyond our financial means.
