Hi everyone. As some of you know, my dad spent the last fourteen years battling the disease of addiction. During that time, he lived in the tunnels beneath Las Vegas—homeless, isolated, and hiding from the world. Addiction isn’t something you can simply “walk away from.” It’s not a lack of discipline. It’s a disease that takes everything from you.

But on August 17th, 2025, my dad made the bravest decision of his life: he walked out of those tunnels, left the drugs behind, and chose to fight for his life again.

Today, he is 127 days sober.

In these last 127 days, he has done everything he can to rebuild himself. He has been part of a Henderson outreach program dedicated to helping people get off the streets. He’s been going to therapy to heal his mind, working out to strengthen his body, and taking classes so he can re-enter the workforce. He’s done all of this while living in a homeless shelter—showing up for himself every single day.

Now, he’s ready for the next step.

I’m raising $750 to cover his first month in a sober living home, where he can continue growing in a stable, structured environment that supports long-term recovery. I’m also hoping to raise an additional $100 to get him essentials like fresh socks, underwear, and at least one good outfit for job interviews.

I know it’s the holidays, and money is tight for many families. But even the smallest contribution helps. Together, we can give my dad the stability he needs to keep going—so he can stay healthy, stay on track, and continue rebuilding his life as the father, friend, and son we all know he truly is.
