Life can change in an instant. One moment, a family is filled with laughter, love, and the ordinary joys of daily life; the next, tragedy can strike in ways no parent should ever have to face. My cousin and his family are now living through one of those unimaginable moments—a devastating car accident that took the life of their precious eight-month-old baby. Grief is a complex and heavy companion. The loss of a child leaves a wound that no words can fully heal. Yet, even in the depth of sorrow, my cousin and his family are showing extraordinary strength. Their two-year-old son is in stable condition, a small glimmer of hope and resilience amid the tragedy, while their four-year-old daughter faces her second brain surgery, reminding us of the fragility and preciousness of life.
