Help my cousin Visare beat Leukemia
Dear All,
My family and I are fundraising for my cousin, Visare Hyseni, who is currently being treated for acute leukemia in Istanbul ‘Memorial Bahçelievler Hastanesi’ Hospital. As a police officer of 19 years, she has helped out many citizens in times of despair, as that is what she loves to do. As this treatment is not available in our country (Kosovo), she was forced to go out to Istanbul, Turkey. All of her medical expenses that she has will not be covered by insurance. Her treatment is going to be up to €155,000. So far, the Kosovan government has helped pay €30,000 in expenses, and family, friends, and other kind-hearted citizens have gathered more than €55,000.
Visare is 40 years old. She is well-known in our community, and she always put others before herself. Instead of planning out the rest of her life, she is dealing with this harsh, unexpected diagnosis. Even if Visare is doing well during her treatments, if we do not have enough money to pay the hospital, they will cancel her treatment, which will be life-threatening.
Visare needs this treatment for her well-being. We are asking for donations to go to this cost. Any sum of money is helpful, and we would be very grateful for it. A little amount of money goes a long way.
Sincerely,
Valon Lokaj
