Help my cousin trying to leave Kiev, Ukraine

Dear friends,

My cousin, Kate, is trying to leave Kyiv for the Hungarian border.

She has lost her job (a Russian-affiliated company) and now has no hope of finding peace, let alone a new job in Kyiv in the foreseeable future. Her current hope is to try to leave Kyiv and settle in Europe or, possibly, in Australia, either short term or long-term, depending on the duration of the war.

Living under ongoing shelling and blaring sirens in Kyiv is taking its toll, both mentally and physically.

I am going over to the Ukrainian-Hungarian border to meet her there on arrival, get her to safety in Budapest and help with paperwork, accommodation and transportation.

We would appreciate it if you could help her out financially with immediate necessities for this initial transition period.
