Nuestro amado hijo, padre, pareja y amigo, Randy Almeida Martínez (36), se encuentra actualmente luchando por su vida tras un devastador accidente automovilístico.

En la madrugada del día 23, alrededor de las 3:00 a.m., Randy regresaba a casa después del trabajo cuando, en la bajada del Turnpike 821 y la avenida 112, perdió el control de su vehículo. El automóvil se salió de la vía, se volcó por un barranco e impactó violentamente contra varias palmas y árboles grandes. El vehículo quedó completamente destruido.

Por la gracia de Dios, Randy sobrevivió. La policía llegó minutos después y lo encontró inconsciente dentro del vehículo volcado. Los servicios de emergencia lo trasladaron de inmediato al Jackson South Medical Center, donde fue ingresado en estado crítico.

Randy sufrió un traumatismo severo en la cabeza, incluyendo una hemorragia interna profunda en el cráneo. Fue conectado a un respirador artificial y actualmente se encuentra en un coma inducido. Los médicos también detectaron otras lesiones, incluyendo una fractura en la clavícula derecha y múltiples golpes en su cuerpo. Randy es conocido por su gran corazón, actitud positiva y espíritu fuerte. Es una persona sociable, alegre y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Ya sea compartiendo una risa jugando dominó, disfrutando de la música y el baile latino, viendo películas, o pasando tiempo de calidad jugando con sus hijos — Randy vive la vida con amor y alegría.

Es un hombre trabajador, dedicado a sacar adelante a su familia. Trabaja en construcción residencial y comercial como operador de equipos y también ha desempeñado funciones como capataz en varios proyectos. Sin importar lo exigente de su trabajo, siempre ha puesto a su familia en primer lugar.

Goal: Support Randy's Recovery & His Family During This Critical Time

Our beloved son, father, partner, and friend, Randy Almeida Martínez (36), is currently fighting for his life after a devastating car accident.

In the early hours of the morning of March 23rd, around 3:00 a.m., Randy was returning home from work when, on the descent from Turnpike 821 and 112th Avenue, he tragically lost control of his vehicle. The car went off the road, rolled down an embankment, and violently impacted several palm trees. The vehicle was completely destroyed.

By the grace of God, Randy survived. Police arrived shortly after and found him unconscious inside the overturned vehicle. Emergency services rushed him to Jackson South Medical Center, where he was admitted in critical condition.

Randy suffered severe head trauma, including a deep internal brain hemorrhage. He was placed on a ventilator and is currently in an induced coma. Doctors also discovered additional injuries, including a fractured right clavicle and multiple impacts to his body. As of today, he remains in critical condition with a guarded prognosis.

Randy is not just a patient in a hospital bed — he is a loving father of four beautiful children (ages 6, 11, 15, and 16), a devoted partner to Daily, and a deeply cherished son, brother, and friend. He is one of my four sons, and as his father, I could not be more proud of the man he has become.

Randy is known for his kind heart, positive attitude, and strong spirit. He is outgoing, sociable, and always willing to help others. Whether it's sharing a laugh over a game of dominoes, enjoying music and Latin dance, watching movies, or spending quality time playing with his children — Randy lives life with love and joy.

He is a hardworking man, dedicated to providing for his family. He works in residential and commercial construction as an equipment operator and has also taken on responsibilities as a foreman on various projects. No matter how demanding his job, he has always put his family first.
