Hello, I’m Toni-Ann and I’m helping to raise funds for my little cousin Tashana’s high school education in Jamaica, W.I. 

Recently, she has been accepted to her dream school, Knox College. This school also ranks as the 4th highest high school in Jamaica according to the Jamaica Gleaner. However, financial insecurity has disabled her from taking advantage of this pristine opportunity, leaving my cousin in great distress. 

As a child Tashana was forced to grow up with an absent mother and lukewarm father. As a result of their indifference, she and her brother were left to live with their great-grandaunt whom they solely rely on for support and guidance. As an elderly woman, their current caretaker has not been able to generate a steady income- a task that has been made increasingly difficult when Covid-19 reached the island. 

In order to help Tashana turn her dreams into reality, this GoFundMe was made with intention to fund her education over the next four years. This includes purchasing a laptop and stable WIFI service, paying tuition fees, school uniforms, transportation fees, and other personal expenses.
