Help my cousin Banan &her family have a new life after Gaza

UPDATE - After 7 months of suffering and fear, thanks to your help, me and my family were able to leave Gaza. We finally arrived in Egypt.

Hello, my name is Samira and this is my cousin Banan from Rafah, Gaza, asking for help to get out of there and help her keep her job. Please read her story.

After 7 months of suffering and fear, thanks to your help, me and my family were able to leave Gaza. We have arrived in Egypt.

My family and I survived, but I could not collect the full amount. I borrowed an amount from someone else and now I need to pay it back (all the travel costs).

"I have two children. Both my husband and I are lawyers.

You all know what is happening in Gaza, bombing, destruction, displacement and hunger.

We lost our home. My husband lost his job, and I work for a company outside Gaza which is threatening me now they will fire me if I don't go back to my work by the end of April. Unfortunately, this is impossible since the internet connection is so week (I used to work online from Gaza City).

This is my only source of income, and I need to live with my children without having to ask anyone for money to provide them with the necessities of life. Help me by sharing the link and donating, and I will be very grateful for any help. Any amount, even a small one, can make a difference.

We were living a very beautiful life with our two children. But all is gone now. Our house was destroyed due to the heavy bombardments in Gaza City last October. We also lost the office we owned and where my husband used to work. See some photos:

We are now displaced in Rafah. We live in a 30 m2 room with our two children, my parents in law and my sisters in law.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to do everything and anything to put my family in a safe place. My children deserve to live a normal life, like any child in the world, feeling safe, being able to play and to go to school. And I must leave Gaza as soon as possible so as not to lose my only source of income. I need to protect my family from the bombing and hunger.

I want to believe there is a future for me and my children".

I'm asking for € 15,000 for my cousin Banan and her family to be able to leave Gaza. Payment will be done through the only travel agency working nowadays which is called Hala Consulting and Tourism “هلا للاستشارات و الخدمات السياحية”, They have a FB page and contact numbers.

$ 5,000 x 2 adults - fees to cross the Rafah border between Palestine and Egypt

$ 2,500 x 2 infants - fees to cross the Rafah border

The money will be given to the Egyptian organisation Ya Hala and the money will be used like this:

Ya Hala, upon receipt of the financial resources, will start the procedures to issue a permit that will allow Banan and her family leave the Gaza Strip. The average is 3 weeks' time until the process will be finalised and their names will appear on the website of the Egyptian border.
