I started this fundraiser because I have seen firsthand how fragile stability can be for families in our neighborhood. People I love have lost work, worried about food on the table, and struggled to find affordable health care. Sacred Heart Community Service has been a lifeline for so many—providing meals, housing help, job support, and the compassion people need to keep going. Their mission to build a community free from poverty speaks to the deepest parts of my heart.

When someone walks through Sacred Heart’s doors, they find more than services. They find neighbors who listen, practical help to meet urgent needs, and opportunities to move toward long-term security. The staff and volunteers work together with people to create hope, opportunity, and action. That kind of care changes lives: a parent who can afford groceries this month, a young person connected to a job training program, a family avoiding eviction because someone stepped in to help.
