Hi Everyone,

I'm raising funds to help cover emergency Vet bills for my cat after he was accidentally poisoned while staying with a cat sitter.

While I was away, Kumo was exposed to Lysol, which is extremely toxic to cats. He suffered chemical burns to his mouth, severe drooling, pain, and has struggled to eat since. He was hospitalized and is now on outpatient care with multiple medications, including pain control, stomach/oral protectants, but his recovery has been complicated by ongoing inflammation and signs of infection from the burns.

Seeing him come home scared, uncomfortable, and unable to eat has been heartbreaking. He needs round-the-clock care and supervision, and my ex-friend/cat sitter is a lawyer and refuses to take responsibility, and will not have a conversation with me over the urgent care costs or any additional medical costs if needed.

I'm doing everything I can to help him heal, but I simply can't afford the full cost on my own. I've already had to choose outpatient treatment over more intensive care due to financial limits, and I'm terrified of not being able to give him what he needs to fully recover.

I'm asking for help to cover:

-Emergency vet visits + hospitalization

-Medication for pain, inflammation, and infection

-Follow-up exams and ongoing treatment needed for chemical burns

-Any additional care required to ensure he can eat, heal, and live comfortably again

My cat is gentle, sensitive, and deeply loved. This was a devastating accident, and I'm just trying to give him the chance to recover without unnecessary suffering.
