Hello all,

My old friend of 12 years has just been diagnosed with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He has a huge tumor on his face. Recently I was informed that he would need to have his lower jaw removed in order to make sure to get all affected, however his quality of life would not be worth this risk. The cancer would also have a high chance of coming back.

So because of this, the only option I’m left with is to make sure he’s comfortable until I have to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep.

In the meantime, his treatments have been including antibiotic injection every two weeks to keep from getting infected, as well as a steroid to slow the growth of the tumor and help with any discomfort as he has been licking his fur off constantly lately. As his condition progresses, he will need more treatments/ medication added to keep him comfortable.

Because of this, I am making this go fund me to help pay for these medical expenses, as well as mortuary services, such as an urn for his ashes. I am financially in a bind at this time and reluctant to ask for help, but I am in dire need of it.

This guy is truly, without question, the best pet and companion I’ve ever had and this is one of the most gut wrenching choices I’ve ever had to make in my life. I love him dearly and always will. He is the BEST cat ever. The most chill creature who will cuddle with you for hours. Also the only cat I’ve ever met that actually LOVES belly rubs and never attacks you when doing so. I will miss him so very much.
