Help My Cat Molly With Vet Bills

My name is Caitlin Veit and my bobtail cat Molly has been my best friend for almost 9 years now. I rescued her at 6 weeks old and she has been my baby, the best cat I could ever ask for, ever since. She fetches, chirps, nibbles me if I scratch her nub, and cuddles me every night. A week ago I noticed she wasn’t acting right. She lives for food and she stopped eating so I knew something was wrong. She stopped using the bathroom, she hasn’t pooped in over a week and she only urinates if I place her in the litter box, she’s not leaving my bed, not wanting to be touched. She’s a super vocal cat and her meow cracks every time she tries to speak now. She meows like she’s in pain if I try to pick her up or hold her. We took her to the vet Monday ($200) for blood work and a urine sample. Today Thursday they didn’t didn’t have results. She tried to stand today and fell over so we took her straight to the emergency vet. They redid blood work, a urine analysis (they did find blood in her urine), and took x-rays. They’re keeping her overnight to put fluids in her and give her an enema. She has a fever and her blood sugar is currently 240 when it should be closer to 140. An ultrasound will be done in the morning. The vet is estimating the cost to be $2500 and that is before any medication prescribed and/or possible surgeries. Her red blood cell count is very low and her liver is smaller than it should be. They haven’t ruled anything out yet but I am hoping for the best. I broke my foot last September and was out of work for 4 months and I finally get back to work (bartending) and then restaurants and bars close due to Corona Virus. After paying the $1000 deposit tonight to the emergency vet we are absolutely broke. My heart is breaking for my baby Shuggaries, I’ve cried for days and haven’t slept, I’m at a loss here y’all. I’ve never had to do something like this before, ask people for money, but please, anything you can donate will help. I know we are all struggling right now but this cat has been my saving grace and my best friend for 9 years now. We’ve been through everything together and have so much more to do while she is with me. I am going to be forever grateful to each and everyone of you who is able to help, no matter how big or small your donation might be.
