I’m hoping to gather funds to be able to bring my cat to the vet.

I lost my job around May of this year, and due to a back injury I haven’t been able to find new work and have gotten by on my own on whatever I receive from commissions. I have no savings after my own medical emergency, so there's very little i can do on my own.

In recent weeks my 2yr old cat has been exhibiting some concerning behavior like excessive grooming and difficulty using the litter box, and with no signs of him getting better. No matter what we do, he currently is in alot of distress and i desperately need to take him to be seen and treated.

This cat actually belongs to my parents who I live with, however they want to just drop him off him to the shelter, and in my area the shelters are overfilled and he has a higher rate of being put down or not receiving the care he'll need.

On average the bill maxes out around 500 depending on the treatment he’d need, that varies by hospital stays, any medication or procedures. It'll at least be enough to cover the visit though.

I raised him from only a few weeks old and couldn’t see myself without him now. I have such a special connection to him, and a huge part of my heart will be missing without him. I just want to be able to help him without seeing him go.

In the next months, after my back is healed, I will be going back to working consistently and will be able to afford all future care, but this is an urgent matter and he needs to see a vet immediately. Please share or support if you can!!!

My cat has been to the vet now! I had to take a loan in order to pay it completely but it came to under $370, thank you to all my friends who supported me and helped me to pay!!
