My name is Kathryn, I am a pet sitter and dog walker. I'm raising funds to pay for my cat's radiation treatments. Kat Jr came into our life in September 2016 as a sweet, talkative cat who loves people. He was a chaotic, silly tween who loved being gross. He is still a talkative sweetheart who I want to support through any changes in his life.

In September, Kat Jr started having abdominal pain and eventually had trouble walking and peeing. After hospitalization, an MRI showed that he has a growth on his spine that is causing painful compression and making him lose function of his hind legs. His CT scan thankfully didn't find cancer anywhere else in his body, so the radiation treatments would focus on the spinal growth. I still have veterinary debt from my senior cat Sprinkels' decline and passing last November, but Kat Jr has a chance with radiation treatment which cats tolerate well.

He would be receiving 6 to 8 sessions of radiation throughout October which is estimated to cost $9,000. His CT scan cost $3,200, and his hospitalization to stabilize him and conduct testing to determine the cause of his illness cost $12,300. I am setting a goal of $20,000 to cover his radiation treatments and part of his hospitalization and testing bills. The world is so stressful, I am incredibly grateful for any donations and sharing of my fundraiser.
