Hi, my names Vanessa and this is my cat Bamboo!

I'm not one to put things out there like this unless I know it can really help someone I love. He is the nicest, sweetest, calmest, most playful two year cat there is and he is (to put it simply) my ENTIRE LIFE! Rescuing him has been the best decision I've ever made. He sadly was in an accident where now has a "Bilateral proximal femoral fracture" on both of his legs and my poor boy is in constant pain. Struggling to walk, use the litter box, and eat. Seeing him in these circumstances is just overall heartbreaking seeing my best friend not be his joyful self. He unfortunately now needs surgery on both legs. Taking him to the emergency Vet, waiting 6-8 hours to be seen was already so much for one person to deal with. It hurts me seeing him crying in so much pain. Dealing with just the emergency bill was already a lot and now having him go through surgery knowing financially is so stressful for a young girl like me who barely getting by. Giving up on him is not an option for me. So I will do what it takes to have my best friend to go back to being his playful and attitude filled self again!

 

 

We found an amazing animal hospital who gave us so much hope and who is willing to take him in and do the surgery, but at the cost of almost 10k! Times are hard for me and my best friend who I love to the stars and back! I can't bear to see him in this pain anymore. He pulled me out of some dark times and I just want to repay all that he has done for me. Bamboo became more than just a pet to me over the two years I have had him. I just want him to be pain free again and continue the life he had before the accident :(

 

All proceeds go straight to Bamboo and only him! To his surgery, aftercare, medicine and whatever else he will need during/after his procedure! I need to reach my goal as soon as possible to minimize how much longer Bamboo has before its too late. The sooner the better so he can start his recovery process.
