Help My Cat Auggie Get the Care He Needs

Hi everyone!

My name is Charlotte, and this is my sweet cat, Auggie. He’s only a year and 4 months old, and he’s already the best part of my life. Auggie is silly, cuddly, and so full of love, always following me around the house and sitting on his window perch.

When I first adopted him, he had been rescued from a hoarder house, where the conditions were heinous and he was amongst 13 other cats. He was very skinny, but he has come such a long way.

Unfortunately, Auggie has been dealing with some serious health issues. He was recently hospitalized with bronchopneumonia and has had to go on medications to help him breathe. The problem is, when the meds stop, his symptoms come back, and the vets say he’ll need more testing and treatment to get to the bottom of it.

Between the emergency vet visit, hospital stay, and ongoing care, it’s getting overwhelming for me to keep up. I just want to do everything I can to make sure Auggie gets better and has the long, happy life he deserves.
