Help my brothers family recover after tragedy

Donation protected
On January 31, 2026, at approximately 6:23 p.m., everything changed in an instant for my brother and his family. They had just returned home, unloading groceries and making dinner, while their 3-year-old played in the living room. My nephew was upstairs with his grandma and sister, who was sleeping. Suddenly, a car traveling over 100mph crashed through the living room and into the garage, causing what felt like a massive explosion with glass and debris flying everywhere. In the chaos, they lost sight of their 3-year-old, but my brother desperately searched through the debris and was able to pull him to safety. Immediately after the impact, the smell of gas filled the home, creating an even more urgent situation, and the family was forced to evacuate immediately. By the grace of God, everyone survived.

Their home has now been red-tagged and deemed unsafe to occupy. They are displaced and facing emotional, physical, and financial uncertainty as they begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding. We are raising funds to help ease the burden during this difficult transition — to support temporary living needs, replace essential belongings, and help restore a sense of stability as they navigate the months ahead. The family has been deeply humbled by the compassion shown by both family and neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful to the Fairfield Fire Department, Fairfield Police Department, paramedics, the Red Cross, and all those who stepped in without hesitation during this unimaginable crisis.

If you are able to contribute, any amount truly helps. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is just as meaningful. Every gesture of support reminds them that they are not alone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support.
