Dear friends, family, and community, I’m writing this with a heavy heart, asking for your support during one of the most painful moments our family has faced. On Saturday, April 17th, my brother was pulled over. Although he was granted a signature bond, he was placed on an ICE hold due to his immigration status. We held onto hope during those 48 hours… but this morning, ICE came and took him away.

My brother has been here since he was just one year old. This is the only home he knows. He grew up here, went to school here, built his life here, and worked hard every day to provide for his family. Now, everything he has built is at risk, and we are left facing an uncertain and frightening future. What hurts the most is the family he leaves behind. His wife is now carrying the weight of everything on her own, trying to stay strong while caring for their child, who doesn’t fully understand why their father is suddenly gone. Their home feels emptier, and their days feel heavier.

My brother is not just a provider—he is a loving husband, a devoted father, and someone who has always shown up for the people he loves. His absence has left a deep void in their lives. We are asking for help to cover legal fees and to support his wife and child during this incredibly difficult time.
