My name is Bakyt Tursunbekov, and I live in the United States, but today I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother-in-law, Amir, 12 y.o., who lives in Kyrgyzstan and urgently needs specialized autism treatment that is not available in his home country.

Recently, our family received a treatment offer from a medical center in Turkey that provides evidence-based therapies, including neurological assessment, behavioral therapy, developmental programs, and rehabilitation specifically for autism spectrum disorder. This program finally gives us hope — a real chance for him to improve his communication, learning abilities, and daily functioning.

However, the full cost of the treatment, travel, and accommodations is $26,000 — an amount far beyond what his family in Kyrgyzstan can afford. Average wages and lack of local specialists make it nearly impossible for them to access proper autism therapy without outside help.

Why this treatment is urgent

Amir struggles with speech delay, sensory issues, social communication challenges, regression, and behavioral difficulties. Without early and structured therapy, his development will continue to fall behind, making everyday tasks extremely difficult.

In Kyrgyzstan, the options for autism treatment are very limited, and long waiting lists make early intervention nearly impossible. This clinic in Turkey is our only realistic option.

How the funds will be used

Your donations will go directly toward:

$19500 — Autism treatment package in Turkey

$1500 — Travel expenses (Kyrgyzstan → Turkey → Kyrgyzstan)

$4000 — Hotel, meals, and necessary logistics during the treatment period

I will personally manage the fundraiser from the U.S. and transfer all funds to the family through secure international payment methods (such as Wise). Every expense will be documented for transparency.
