Yesterday (June 9th 2021) my brother got into a horrific accident at work. He had to be airlifted to Toronto as scaffolding had collapsed onto him. He currently has had his right leg amputated about an inch or so above the knee as well as a fractured left foot.

We are hoping that they will not have to remove any higher but won't know until after his surgery tomorrow.

My brother is a 35 year old man who woke up yesterday and went to work like any other day. Due to what looks like someone else's negligence on that worksite, my brother will never wake up and have another "any other day".  Thankfully his coworker was able to get out of the way in time to escape injury. Ryan had noticed it was collapsing and yelled for his partner to run. I'm so thankful his coworker was there with him when it happened and got Ryan help ASAP. 

Today he's waking up to a completely new life as well as an extremely devastated wife who was been at his side.

I want to raise money for Ryan to get the best prosthetic leg possible and help him and his Wife Deanna with any expenses incurred due to this extremely difficult time.

My brother is my world and all I want to do his take away his pain and trauma. My heart is aching not being able to be beside him due to Covid restrictions. I can't help him the way I want to. What I can do is try to raise money for the most important person in this world to my brother so she can be with him as much as she wants, and to help them as my brother starts his new, very different life.
