Help My Brother Walk—and Inspire—Again

Ten years ago, my brother Alvaro’s life changed forever. At just 21 years old, he was in a terrible accident that resulted in the loss of his leg. After multiple surgeries and overwhelming hospital bills, a generous donation allowed him to receive a prosthetic leg—a true blessing that helped him begin to rebuild his life.

Since then, he’s been nothing short of inspiring. He never gave up. He faced every challenge with strength and a positive attitude, becoming a role model for others going through similar struggles. He’s active, hardworking, and passionate about life. He trains, boxes, and works every day to stay strong—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. He’s also a loving and dedicated dog parent.

But now, after 10 years of movement, training, and perseverance, his prosthetic leg has broken. And without it, life has become incredibly difficult again. He’s back on crutches, which limit his mobility and make it nearly impossible to do the things he loves most.

We’re raising funds to help him get a new prosthetic leg—one that can keep up with his active lifestyle and allow him to keep moving forward, chasing his dreams, and inspiring others.
