Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I’m trying to raise money to help my brother Hector.

He’s been homeless in South Texas for over 30 years. Last night, the temperatures were in the 20s, and he didn’t sleep at all because he had to burn wood just to stay warm. As you can imagine, that’s dangerous and heartbreaking.

Right now, our immediate goal is to buy him a tent and basic supplies so he can have some protection from the cold. Our bigger goal is to buy him a small RV we found for about $1,400. It doesn’t run, but it would give him something he’s never really had… a safe place to lay his head and a place he can call his own.

I have around 40,000 followers, and I thought if even a small portion of you gave $1, we could raise enough to get him out of the cold and into something safer. Any amount truly helps.

Hector has struggled with homelessness most of his life. He was abandoned by his biological mother at just three years old, and that trauma has followed him into adulthood.
