My brother, who is currently in the Philippines, recently suffered a humerus fracture due to a sports accident. He is in pain and waiting to undergo surgery so he can heal properly and return to his normal life. As his sister, watching this unfold from miles away has been incredibly difficult. I am currently working in the United States, doing everything I can to support him, but the cost of surgery, hospital care, medications, and recovery expenses is more than I can handle alone—especially with the added challenge of supporting him from another country.
