❤️Please Help My Family Rebuild After the Summerland Wildfire ❤️

Hello, my name is Carling, and I am the sister, niece, and aunt to three gentlemen, Douglas Burchell, Kim Yamamoto, and Alex Burchell, who have lost everything in the horrific wildfire that has spread through Summerland and continues to burn.

I know these are incredibly difficult times for everyone, and there are many people and families who are going to need help in the days and weeks ahead. I completely understand that not everyone is in a position to give, and even sharing this message can make a difference.

Their situation has an additional hardship, as their home did not have insurance. That was a homeowner decision, but unfortunately, it means there is no insurance coverage to help them begin rebuilding their lives.

Like so many others affected by this devastating fire, they left with little more than what they had on their backs. They have lost their home, vehicles, belongings, clothing, personal items, and the sense of security that comes with having a place to call home.

We are humbly asking for any donations or assistance that people may be able to provide. Whether it is financial help, gift cards, clothing, household necessities, food, or other essentials, every little bit will help them get through this incredibly difficult time.
