Help my brother keep his head above water.

Hi, My name is Alex and I’m here to help my brother during his financial situation.

My Brother Andy, has been sick since the end of May since this year. He has been to the doctors multiple times since then with no answer. Multiple test and labs with lack of answers and so many doctors. As time went on, he hasn’t been eating much, has been sleeping his life away. His nutrition level is so low to where he has no energy and is lost so much weakness. So far this summer, he couldn’t even enjoy anything less than laying in bed. He’s been turn away and sent to specialist that haven’t help. Medication after medication, nothing solved why and how he was so sick.

Forward to this week…

On July 25,2022 - His daughter had to call 911 finding him, making noises and as it seems to wanting to fall forward, not coherent enough to talk. His own daughter had to say, “Dad stay with me, you have to be here for your wife and kids.”

As the ambulance took him away to the hospital, and the family arrived to the hospital, he has had tons of issues since of being there, to even bottoming out twice. He was only 5 mins… only 5 mins away from being dead, in front of his daughter and family.

We almost lost a son, a husband, and my brother.

Yesterday, The doctors found out that he has sepsis, has been in the ICU.

As some know and some don’t, Sepsis is an infection that spreads that can turn into a deadly life threatening event.

“ serious condition resulting from the presence of harmful microorganisms in the blood or other tissues and the body’s response to their presence, potentially leading to the malfunctioning of various organs, shock, and death.”

My brother and his wife just both recently got a new job before his illness has started. They are very limited to things within the job to have any kind of leave. As my brother Andy is unable to work, he is now on medical leave with no pay whatsoever. With unknowing how long it will be until He’s able to get to work. He has a long recovery road ahead of him - Walking is a big challenge for him.

His oldest daughter is in college that is roughly 2 hours away roughly $16,000 a year for her schooling. She is now is in the rough choice of choosing to drop out of school to pay the family pay the bills. As much as a child shouldn’t have to worry about paying bills in the family, she is a big daddy’s girl with a big heart and will do anything to help.

With medical bills piling up more and more, only one paycheck, schooling financials, rent, utilities… you name it.. they don’t know how or what to do.

Andy is a very, out going person who just needs some help. He’s loved by many,. Im trying and asking for help from anyone who would be willing help his family get relief over the next few months.

If you ever had or have the opportunity to meet Andy, he has the biggest heart you’ll ever know. He will take his shirt off his back to help anyone.

All I want for him, is to get better and get back on his pride and joy.. on his motorcycle before winter arrives. His happiness will come again, just need help.

He’s helped multiple people over the years and so many people know him. It’s his turn to get a hand.
