Hello,

My name is Gabriel Tavora and I am raising money to help support my brother, John. My brother was admitted to Socsargen County Hospital in General Santos City, Philippines on October 25th, 2021 for severe head pain. One of the nights at the hospital John had a severe seizure that raised serious concern for my family and I. After receiving a CT scan and multiple tests, the neurologist informed me and my family that John had excess fluid in his skull that was causing direct pressure on his brain. It was highly recommended that John underwent surgery to remove that excess fluid from his skull. After a successful surgery, we were told that John needed to stay at the hospital until he was cleared for discharge. Unfortunately only a couple days after, my brother had another mild stroke which led to another CT scan and in this scan the neurologist located a blood clot on the lower right side of his brain. We are thankful John is currently in a stable condition, receiving as much rest as possible.

For those that know me personally, I like to keep things private when it comes to my family and what goes on within the family. But with this sudden event, my family and I are struggling financially to pay for John's surgery, length of stay at the hospital, medications, etc. My mom is currently in the Philippines being by John's side through all of this, and seeing her breakdown every time I receive an update is the toughest thing to see.. If in any way you are able to contribute to the costs of my brother's recovery, my family and I would be so appreciative and thankful. If you are unable to make a donation that is absolutely fine as well; prayers and thoughts for John's recovery is just as appreciated.
