Help my Brother Joe for his medical expenses
Donation protected
My brother, Jose Liquigan, at the age of 70, is in his 16th day at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Philippines, fighting his battle against COVID-19.
It was March 6, 2021, when Joe was rushed to the hospital because he was having difficulty in breathing. The following day, swab result confirmed that my brother was positive for COVID 19 . He was immediately given an appropriate treatment at the ER. It was around 9am of March 8 when we heard the devastating news that my brother needs to be intubated because oxygen level is dropping. Xray results also confirmed that my brother has already acquired Pneumonia. According to reports from his children, my Joe was re-intubated 3 to 4 times due to blood clotting despite frequent suction during his stay the the ER.
The hospital where my brother is staying has already reached its maximum bed capacity for COVID patients. It was only about a week ago when my brother finally got transferred to the ICU from the ER. But as the doctors always tell us, the journey will not be easy as complications of COVID made a huge damage to Joe's lungs. According to them, the treatment will take about a month or so. To set our expectations, my brother is still in a critical condition considering the fact that he is still intubated and supported by a mechanical ventilator.
Our family, with strong faith, beleive that nothing is impossible and that Joe will be healed and can survive. To help the family with medical expenses, we are humbly asking for prayers and donations.
