Help My Brother He’s Fighting The Big C

Hi, my name is Michelle Squitieri and I am fundraising for my brother Rob Benoit. Here is His story that will change our lives forever. Back in July of this year 2023 he was having stomach pain, he went to the drs and they noted he had a hernia. The drs scheduled him for surgery on Friday August 18th to correct the hernia. Once the surgeon made the first incision fluid came pouring out of his abdomen. The surgeon then made a second incision to insert the laparoscopic camera and noticed his stomach didn’t look right so she took a few biopsies of small implants that were located in the abdomen for testing and closed him up. A few days later we got the unimaginable news, my brother has stage 4 cancer!! A very rare aggressive terminal cancer know as metastatic cholangiocarcinoma. His abdomen keeps filling up with ascites fluid which he gets drained. (They drain 7-8 liters of fluid every week) on September 13th he started chemo treatments along with immunotherapy. Then on Oct 10th he was hospitalized for 3 1/2 days as he developed blood clots in both lungs and both legs. As you can imagine the financial drain this has put on him and his family. I am humbly asking if you can find it in your hearts to donate to help my brother and his family, with ongoing medical and living expenses. For those of you who do not know my brother, he is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if that’s the only thing he had left. I don’t want him to spend his days worrying about how when and where these bills will be paid. I want him to concentrate on Kicking Cancers Butt! Thank you for reading his story.
