My brother has both schizophrenia and autism, and he relies on daily medication to manage his symptoms and maintain his wellbeing. Recently, a government shutdown caused delays in the approval process for his medication through state healthcare. As a result, he now has only about a week and a half’s worth of pills left. Without his medication, his mental health could quickly deteriorate, putting his safety and stability at risk.
We are doing everything we can to work with his psychiatrist and the state healthcare system, but the process is slow and uncertain. The funds we are hoping to raise will allow us to purchase his medication out-of-pocket for the next 30 days. This will give us a critical window to sort out the rest of his refills and ensure he doesn’t miss a single dose.
Any support you can offer will help keep my brother safe and stable during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can provide. Thank you for caring and for considering a donation.
