Help My Brother Get the Rehab Support He Deserves
Donation protected
My name is Jade, and I’m raising funds for my brother, who is courageously entering rehab to begin a new chapter of recovery and healing.
Marc-André is many things—a dedicated father, a wildfire firefighter, a lover of authentic poutine, and someone who can make a room laugh. But he is also a child of trauma, carrying pain that has shaped how he’s had to survive. He’s not my brother by blood, but by something stronger. Years ago, when he was thrown out with nowhere to go, my mother took him in and loved him as her own—and so did I. He became family, and he is family today. I’m asking for help—not just for my brother, but for the man underneath the weight. The one who is finally ready to do the deep, hard work of healing.
Addiction is a complex and painful journey—not just for those going through it, but also for the people who love them. I’m so proud that MAC has decided to ask for help. He’s ready, but the cost of the program is not entirely within his budding family's means.
Every dollar raised will go directly to his treatment, and I’ll personally be managing the funds and paying the rehab facility directly, but on his behalf.
We’re asking for support from our community—whether it’s $10, $50, or just sharing this link. Your help will bring stability to someone ready to make a change.
The funds raised will cover two months of residential rehab and one full year of aftercare support. If there are any leftover funds after treatment costs, they’ll go directly toward my brother’s recovery journey—supporting things like aftercare programs, stable housing, nutritious food, transportation, and counselling to help him stay healthy and rebuild his life long term.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting his path forward.
