My brother, Angel, has been incredibly excited about the opportunity to study in Canada - to take the next step in his education and continue growing both personally and academically.

He's always shown so much dedication as a student, always pushing himself to do his best and stay focused on his goals.

Unfortunately, the financial and emotional challenges of this process have been overwhelming. For the last six months, we have been doing everything we can to help him reach this goal - but the cost of the immigration process has made it incredibly hard to keep going.

Even though he's submitted strong applications (twice), and met all the requirements for a study permit, both were refused. After consulting with several immigration lawyers, we were told his case is strong, and that the reasons for refusal were not reasonable in the circumstances.

Based on this advice, we're confident that pursuing a judicial review is the right next step, and we want to give him the best chance to continue his academic journey here.

That's why we're hoping to raise $7,000 by November 14th. This will go toward the legal costs of the review.

Angel means so much to our family and to everyone who knows him. His kindness, dedication, and focus have touched so many people. He’s someone who gives his all, and it’s been inspiring to see him grow through everything he’s faced.
