Help my brother Gabo survive COVID19 in Venezuela

my name is Anais and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Lorely Bracale and her family.

Those who know my brother José Gabriel Bracale, know that he is a being with a noble heart, caring, loving , honest ,a fighter and above all an exceptional human being.

 

Covid-19 has affected millions of people in the world. This campaign is for our dear Jose Gabriel Bracale Peña, who is 39 years old and father of 2 wonderful kids ( Fabrizio, a 10year old boy and  Gabriela, a 6 year old girls) , lives in Barquisimeto, Venezuela and is currently fighting to survive COVID-19 in the ICU.

 

Gabriel had surgery on May 17th and was discharged to finish his recovery at home. After a few days he and his wife started showing COVID-19 symptoms. Gabriel's wife recovered, but Gabriel's oxygen saturation started to decrease quickly. He started being treated with oxygen 24/7 on June 21st 2021 and his values improved initially. However, he had a setback on Friday June 23rd and was transferred to the ICU.

 

We (Gabriel's family and friends) are fighting each day to find the resources, medications and money to help him get through this disease.

 

We would like to ask for you help through this campaign, as well as Zelle account to support Gabo on his fight against COVID-19. The world is a better place with him in it.

 

Fighting COVID or any other illness in Venezuela is a matter of life and death, not just from the disease itself, but from the lack of infrastructure, medicine and resources. You might find what you need, but it you will have to pay for it in foreign currency (usually USD), in a country where the economy and all other services have collapse, where we have exchange control and one of the highest inflation rates in the world.

 

We have tapped into our savings and everything we have at hand, but the expenses for medical care in Venezuela are astronomical. You can't wait until you are recovered / discharged to pay for your medical bills or apply for a financing plan. We have to pay continuously (on daily or weekly basis) for Gabriel to continue to receive medical car, otherwise he would be discharged, independently of his condition.

mi nombre es Anais y estoy recaudando fondos en nombre de mi querida amiga Lorely Bracale y su familia.

Quienes conocen a mi hermano José Gabriel Bracale, saben que es un ser de corazón noble, solidario, cariñoso, honesto, luchador y sobre todo un ser humano excepcional.

 

Covid-19 ha afectado a millones de personas en el mundo. Esta campaña es para nuestro querido José Gabriel Bracale Peña, quien tiene 39 años y padres de dos niños maravillosos ( Fabrizio de 10 años y Gabriela de 6años) , vive en Barquisimeto, Venezuela y actualmente lucha por sobrevivir al COVID-19 en la UCI.

 

Gabriel fue operado el 17 de Mayo y fue dado de alta para terminar su recuperación en casa. Después de unos días, él y su esposa comenzaron a mostrar síntomas de COVID-19. La esposa de Gabriel se recuperó, pero la saturación de oxígeno de Gabriel comenzó a disminuir rápidamente. Comenzó a recibir tratamiento con oxígeno las 24 horas del día, el 21 de Junio de 2021 y sus valores mejoraron inicialmente. Sin embargo, tuvo una recaida el viernes 23 de Junio y fue trasladado a la UCI.

 

Nosotros (la familia y los amigos de Gabriel) luchamos todos los días para encontrar los recursos, los medicamentos y el dinero que lo ayuden a superar esta enfermedad.

 

Nos gustaría pedirle ayuda a través de esta campaña, así como la cuenta de Zelle para apoyar a Gabo en su lucha contra COVID-19. El mundo es un lugar mejor con él.

 

Combatir el COVID o cualquier otra enfermedad en Venezuela es una cuestión de vida o muerte, no solo por la enfermedad en sí, sino por la falta de infraestructura, medicinas y recursos. Puede encontrar lo que necesita, pero tendrá que pagarlo en moneda extranjera (generalmente USD), en un país donde la economía y todos los demás servicios se han derrumbado, donde tenemos control de cambio y una de las tasas de inflación más altas en el mundo.

 

Hemos aprovechado nuestros ahorros y todo lo que tenemos a mano, pero los gastos de atención médica en Venezuela son astronómicos. No puede esperar hasta que se recupere / le den de alta para pagar sus facturas médicas o solicitar un plan de financiamiento. Tenemos que pagar de forma continua (diaria o semanalmente) para que Gabriel siga recibiendo el vehículo médico, de lo contrario sería dado de alta, independientemente de su estado.
