Help My Brother Fight for a Second Chance at Life

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Karen Murillo, and I am reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. My brother has been battling a series of severe health issues over the past few years, and we find ourselves at a critical crossroads.

He was diagnosed with Stage 5 renal failure, a life-threatening condition that affects his kidneys’ ability to function. Compounding this, he has diabetic retinopathy, which threatens his vision, and he is a Type 1 diabetic, fighting a relentless battle to stay healthy and alive every day.

Despite these overwhelming challenges, my brother remains resilient. He’s currently on the transplant list for a kidney and a pancreas a beacon of hope that could restore his health. But this journey is long, difficult, and costly.

Right now, we owe $25,000 in medical bills a mountain of debt that adds to the emotional and physical toll of his illness. As his sister, best friend, and medical power of attorney, I am doing everything I can to support him, but we’ve reached a point where we need help from the kindness of others.
