Hi my name is Alicia Rivera Friends and family I'm reaching out to you for support for my brother Albert which he has been in a journey of operations since his accident took place two and a half years ago he's been through a lot but with God's help and prayer he's been able to keep his leg from being amputated and also the nine trips to the operating room for various reasons from rearranging his leg to having plates put in and removed due to infection and also had pins put in to hold his bones together till the fused and throughout the journey his leg became infected in the tissue and also in the bone and through various operations they were able to remove the infection which was great news because if not it would have been amputated so for two years he had his shin bone exposed due to all the removal of skin tissue that was infected and during this time his gallbladder busted open and he had to be rushed to the emergency room to be operated for that and that was July of last year so after being cleared by his doctor to have the plastic surgery done to cover up the bone that operation took place but what happened was 6 days after the operation he was given blood transfusion that was not intended for him and it was not his blood type and it caused the tissue to die and 5 to 6 days later worms came out of the wound so he had to be operated again to clean the infection out and this time move another muscle up to cover up the bone because part of the other muscle that was used was used because part of it died due to the two different type of blood types his body went into shock he was in the hospital for three operations and 3 months and after being released from the hospital he fell on his bad leg and broke his hip bone so now he will be going into surgery this coming week and require a prosthetic to replace the bone at the socket where the bone is attached im praying his operations are a success and could eventually walk on his own after a full recovery iwant to thank all who have kept him in your prayers over the difficult time that he's been going through and also thank for those of you who have supported him as well may God bless all of you and once again thank you for all your help and support
