My brother is a very caring soul who has always bonded deeply with both people and animals. Recently, he has been struggling with mental health challenges and is recovering from suicide attempts. He is currently in a mental hospital, trying hard to get better. As he’s been going through this difficult time, I’ve seen him start to shut himself off from the world, and it’s been heartbreaking to watch someone so compassionate lose touch with the things that once brought him joy.

I truly believe that bringing a support cat into his life could make a world of difference. My brother has so much love to give, and I think caring for a pet would help him reconnect with his compassion and rediscover his sense of purpose. The funds raised will go directly toward adoption fees, making it possible for him to welcome a new companion who can offer comfort, companionship, and hope during his recovery. It would be a homecoming gift to him, for his return from a mental hospital.
