FIGHTING COVID - HELP ORHAN GET THE CARE HE NEEDS

Te dashur familjare a shoke,

Po ndaj me ju nje lajm te keq qe mora nga nipi im. Vellai im I madh Orhan Mitku, qe jeton ne Tirane eshte semure rende nga Covid-19 dhe eshte nisur urgjent ne
Milano, Italy.

Ky lajm me ka shqetesuar aq shume pasi, Orhani ka qene nje vella model per mua, nje prind dhe bashkeshort I devotshem.

Ka vetem 4-5 muaj qe ka dale ne pension dhe ne vend qe te gezoje disa vite te
bukura, ky virus po I behet rrezik serioz per jeten.

E keqja dhe e mira ndahet gjithmone me miq. Po ju kerkoj ndihmen tuaj modeste t’i bashkohet ndihmes time ne ndihme te familjes se tij ne Tirane.

Nqs nuk keni mundesi te na ndihmoni financiarisht, shpresoj qe lutjet tuaja t’a ndihmojne shendetin e vellait tim ne keto momente te veshtira. Faleminderit nga

Dear friends and family,

It is with a sad heart that I share with you the news that my oldest brother, Orhan Mitku, currently residing in Albania, was hospitalized in the ICU in the capital of
Tirana. After 3 days of treatment, doctors determined there was not much they could do for him and suggested he gets flown to Milan, Italy for a better chance at survival.

My brother was my biggest role model growing up. With his kind heart and compassion, he would have helped in all ways possible if the tables were turned.

As a recent retiree, these would have been his golden years and I hope he is able
to get through this and enjoy his years alongside his wife and sons.

Considering difficulties existing in Albania associated with this case, his family have used all means possible to get him the best care possible and give him a
fighting chance. The financial burden they are facing is one that will be difficult to climb out of and that’s why I am asking you for help.

COVID has had a huge impact on all of us one way or another, so if you are unable to contribute financially, thoughts and prayers are equally appreciated.
My intent for this GoFund me is to gather contributions to support my brother’s family in this fight against Covid-19.

All money gathered will go directly to my nephew, Vildan Mitku, who has been by his father’s side from the beginning. These contributions will help cover medical
expenses such as the emergency private medical flight, hospital stay in Italy, cost of follow-up care, etc.
